Grünberger is a semi-hard cow’s milk cheese from eastern Switzerland with a piquant creamy flavor. Mi Lan Xiang Dan Cong is a Guangdong oolong with obvious floral and fruity notes and an equally obvious baked tone. It is with this baked tone that Grünberger interacts, transforming it into a nutty and very soft tone, perfectly in harmony with both the creaminess of the cheese itself, and with floral-fruity notes of the tea. Very simple and delicious.
